Ultra Europe 2024
For all three looks I wore the same boots, the Azalea Wang Lynx Boot, 7 Slim-Fit (Regular Fit linked here). Can you believe I snagged these during Akira’s Fourth of July sale for only $17?! Breaking them in for three nights of festival (and a surprise visit to Tomorrowland shortly after) was no small feat—I ended up with a ton of blisters, but nothing too painful to prevent me from enjoying my trip. The major flaw of these boots is they aren’t too breathable (so get ready to sweat). Overall, paired with My Favorite Socks (for festival boots and high-top sneakers), they ended up being versatile, light and easy to pack for an international festival, and durable.
I also paired all three looks with these Amazon Double-Strap Heart Garters in Black & White and Heart Coin Purse. I learned this trick from my friend Estée at Dead Rocks the week prior. Basically she took the same garters and a red heart coin purse on a clip and attached it to the garters or various parts of her outfits each day. I adored the idea and have shamelessly copied it since. It isn’t often a festival outfit has pockets, and while my phone is always safely and securely on a crossbody strap thanks to My Favorite Phone Case, I still always need a place to store lipgloss, etc.
My top accessory for each night? Earplugs. If you aren’t protecting your ears and you’re regularly attending festivals or concerts, its time to start! The best part about earplugs? Amazon Star Sunglasses — This is my second pair; the first got stepped on accidentally and I loved themj so much I bought them again! I wear these all the time, they add a bit of fun when worn in an especially unconventional setting. I like to take mine skiing—I’m always in need of a pair of sunglasses to block the intense reflection of the sun off the snow but need a break from my googles—these make me feel like a total rockstar during après-ski!
